Simply follow the directions below to transform your favorite friend into an adorable keepsake that you can take everywhere!

5 QUICK AND EASY STEPS
1) Select an area that provides good lighting, avoiding direct sunlight.
2) Select an area that provides a good contrasting background for your pet
making sure the background is a different color and texture than your pet. It is
critical that we are able to distinguish the true outline of your pet from the
background.
3) Place your pet in the position you desire.
4) Position yourself 3 to 5 feet away from your pet and use your zoom to
get close-up shots. If you are ordering a head & shoulders decal, DO NOT photograph the entire body.
If you are ordering an entire body shot, LIMIT your background.
5) If you are ordering a decal for a composite of multiple pets, you will
need to send separate orders for each pet. Note on each of the order forms: a) the pet's name
b) the pets on the other order forms that are to be part of the group decal. This way, no one gets left out.

CHECKING YOUR IMAGES:
1) Make sure your pet's image is complete. From our experiences, we have
received images with parts of the pet's body missing, for example, portions of ears or chins. For head and shoulder shots, be sure a portion of your pet's neck is showing. For body shots, we do need the entire body of your pet.
2) We do offer touchup of your pet's eyes due to light reflection when
possible. Please make every effort to provide images that require none or the least amount of touchup to the eyes, as we believe the eyes are the window to their hearts and should not be altered.
3) Your decal will look like the image you send us. Keep in mind that we
do not see most of our customer's pets and therefore we do not know the true color of your pet or other factors that could vary from pet to pet. Please carefully examine the image(s) you send us.

WHEN WE RECEIVE YOUR ORDER:
If there is a problem with your image, we will contact you to give you our recommendations. If we do not recommend the use of the image, we will not be able to guarantee the quality of the end product.

PREPARING YOUR ORDER: SIZING THE DECAL
For safety of your pet's eyes, please use: a) a tape measure (preferred) or b) a piece of string to measure from the center of one of your pet's eye to the center of the other eye. If you using a pieced of string, you will
need a ruler to hold the string against to determine the measurement. NOTE:
Most pets do best when you bring the measuring tape over the back of their
heads and rest it above their eyes instead of trying to take the measurement in front of their eyes. Animals, just like humans, vary greatly in size and features. Take care in reading this measurement, as 1/4" can make a
huge difference when it is a smaller dog. You will need to enter this measurement on the next screen. We will not be able to proceed with any "Your Own Pets" orders without this measurement.
